Planning Application
In December 2024, RES submitted a planning application for the 99.9MW Winking Hill Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), on land off West Leake Lane, approximately 1.8km from Ratcliffe-on-Soar and 2.5km from Gotham. The application was validated by Rushcliffe Borough Council in February 2025.
